Jack Marriott is the Co-Principal & Registrar of the Universal College of Reflexology, and he bridges the gap between healing modalities and entrepreneurship.
Jack brings to the Universal College of Reflexology twenty-five years of management expertise having worked as a corporate executive at the highest levels of international business. Jack was a long-term director and past President of the Greater Vancouver Real Estate Board – Investment, Commercial & Industrial Division. He served as a faculty member with the International Council of Shopping Centres. He is an internationally known speaker and seminar leader on business. Jack utilizes his outstanding business acumen in developing effective business and career programs of the highest quality at the Universal College of Reflexology.
Jack’s students praise him for making a perceived difficult subject simple, easy and fun to learn. The business skills they develop provide them the tools necessary for success!
Jack has been a certified Reflexologist since the early 1990s and he was also amongst the first Canadians trained in Ear Reflexology. In addition to teaching business, he enjoys teaching Reflexology subjects at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
The Universal College of Reflexology is an industry leader in innovative approaches to ongoing student learning and development. Jack has been instrumental in this area of training. He has initiated several creative follow-up programs.
Students delight in the time and leadership Jack provides them through student services. He is often on the phone or sending out emails advising students of important matters. The Universal College of Reflexology maintains the highest standards for this wonderful profession. In addition to proper dress code and a professional code of ethics, the Universal College of Reflexology keeps up to date with continuing education. Accordingly, Jack works with the Alumni committee in introducing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs consistent with the requirements of the Complementary Medical Association of London, England.
Jack has been active in volunteering his services and coaching sports throughout his entire life. He has served as a director and committee member on many boards in corporate, public, community, sports, and professional organizations and associations. In the Reflexology community he has served as Vice-President, Budget & Finance Chair, and Executive Committee member nationally, provincially and locally.
