President , Founder and Principal of the Universal College of Reflexology

Lauren is the Principal and Founder of the Universal College of Reflexology. Reflexology has been Lauren’s passion since the early 80′s when it helped her with severe health challenges.

Lauren is always exploring ways of passing this most effective, ancient healing art onto as many people as possible. She is constantly writing and updating the wide collection of Reflexology manuals that are used at the Universal College of Reflexology.

She understands the importance of improving the quality of education and professionalism of Reflexology. The crown jewel in the vast array of courses that the Universal College of Reflexology has to offer, is the Quantum Reflexology Diploma course, which combines 21st century science with incredible healing results. Lauren also loves discovering and exploring different ways of integrating reflexology into every day healthcare, such as how Reflexology can be used for a wide variety of ailments from stress relief to pain management.

Lauren Slade is Past President of the Reflexology Association of Canada. She completed her three year term before deciding to focus more time on the Universal College of Reflexology. During her Directorship for the Reflexology Association of Canada she also served as Education director, and was director of the Sales, Marketing & Advertising portfolio. Lauren assisted in broadening the scope of the Reflexology Association of Canada to include hand and ear Reflexology.

With over 40 years experience as a practitioner, Lauren also teaches and lectures about reflexology at the highest levels. Lauren originally studied in London, England with Dwight Byers of the International Institute of Reflexology, and has subsequently enjoyed learning many different styles of reflexology from all four corners of the globe. She has specialized in studying Hand, Ear and Foot Reflexology as well as Facial Reflexology, Scalp Reflexology, Nose Reflexology, Body Reflexology, Nail Reflexology and Tibetan Reflexology from a wide variety of highly respected teachers around the world.

Lauren is also a Master Herbalist, Reiki Master / Teacher, Homeopath, Massage Therapist, Iridologist with additional training in many other wholistic health modalities. Lauren has uniquely combined her vast knowledge from these various modalities to be able to integrate Reflexology with Aromatherapy, Reflexology with Herbalism and Reflexology with the Healing Power of Crystals and is pleased to provide this information in easy home study format. Since moving to Canada in 1991, Lauren has steadily worked to have Reflexology accepted as an established complementary health care alternative. Lauren has worked extensively in private practice, which she combines with a busy teaching schedule at the Universal College of Reflexology.

Teaching others how to have fun and heal themselves and their lives is one of Lauren’s main passions in life.
